The mission of GOPalooza.org is to create a coalition of Republican leaders under 30 working in Washington, and tangibly connect them to the political process.

The idea behind GOPalooza.org is simple:

Washington, especially in the summer months, is host to the most concentrated group of future Republican leaders in the country. Working at executive agencies, think tanks, advocacy groups, on the Hill, or with private companies, these Republicans leaders of tomorrow are substantially contributing to American politics today, and will define the GOP in the future.

It is our experience that these leaders are eager to meet people working at other agencies and organizations, and want to become more connected with the political process. But there is a lack of opportunities in Washington to network this exceptional group of future Republican leaders together, and tangibly connect them to politicians in Washington.

GOPalooza.org has been created by a coalition of young Republicans working in Washington to address this problem. We believe that when these young Republican leaders come together in a single room, good things will happen: important friendships will be forged, networks will be established and political leaders will take notice. We face daunting challenges that can cripple our generation - from insolvent entitlement programs to our dependence on Middle Eastern oil. The Republican Party is in a unique position to address these challenges. By forming this coalition, we can help focus the debate towards these issues and find solutions.

Since its inception, top Republican leaders, Washington's hottest venues, and leading GOP organizations have been eager to partner with the group.

Having already planned and orchestrated a strategy discussion with Newt Gingrich and a highly successful networking event attended by over 800 young Republicans in the summer of 2006, we look forward to further fulfilling our mission this summer. Here is what we already have planned this summer to achieve this:

• The Grand Old Party at The Galleria - One of the most beautiful venues in Washington,featuring live big band entertainment, a full bar, and the opportunity to rub shoulders with distinguished guests of the Republican world, this night is sure to be unforgettable.



• GOPalooza Thursdays at Smith Point - GOPalooza.org is hosting two events this summer at Washington's hottest bar, a place The New York Times called "a genuine velvet rope hot spot… A haven for a hip, young Republican elite."



• Events with Republican Presidential Candidates, and other top GOP leaders - We are in contact with top Republican leaders, hard at work planning exciting events to connect you and other under-30 Republicans in Washington with these highly influential people in order to discuss the vital issues that face our generation.
